Just got a copy of the book from my local Big W store. $20, but at least it was cheaper than the bookstore (they were charging $40). Some people are saying it's not very good, but I won't judge it till I've read it. Reply #1. Aug 05 16, 12:50 AM |

I finished it on the day I got it. I do not like it as much as the "regular" books but it is wonderful to know more about Harry Potter and what happened after he left Hogwarts. Reply #3. Sep 01 16, 3:23 PM |

I think that the show must be great. I wonder how much the tickets are. Better watch it than read. Reply #4. Sep 02 16, 4:42 PM |

I read it and enjoyed the story, but it's important to realize that what you're buying is the actual script of the play. This means the reader needs to have an active imagination in order to fill in all those gaps that aren't an issue with a novel. For example, we don't ever really know what characters are thinking, and we miss the facial expressions and general reactions we would see if we were watching the play.. Reply #5. Exactly. The story in the book is weird, but fortunately I have a good imagination and I can see it (in my mind) on the stage. Reply #6. Sep 02 16, 6:28 PM |

I thought it was great. Hoping they bring the play to the U.S. or at least record the play and release that. Reply #7. Sep 04 16, 11:12 AM |

It's apparently doing very well in London, so I imagine they'll mount a production of it in NY in a year or two. Reply #8. Sep 04 16, 12:56 PM |
