Oh, gee... I missed it. My intention was to watch, but then forgot all about it. I did see the original, on Broadway, over 40 years ago, with Andrea McArdle in the title role. It's a very sweet, happy show, with singable songs. Reply #42. Dec 03 21, 2:41 PM |

Her daughter was in Les Mis when I saw it on Broadway, she played Young Colette. I love autographs so while I got cast members of the show, I got Andrea McArdle’s autograph too. I wasn’t alive when she played Annie. Reply #43. Dec 03 21, 5:32 PM |

How thrilling to get an extra star autograph! It's funny. I never thought of her as grown up, and having kids of her own. Children do have a way of doing that, though :-D Reply #44. Dec 03 21, 6:30 PM |

I saw the national tour of "Chicago" the week before Christmas in Connecticut. My friend, Jeff, played Billy. It was a great show. The girl who played Velma was really good; Roxie was good but sometimes hard to hear. Billy, well, I'm biased, but he was the best. One thing I didn't like is the way they had the Mr. Cellophane number. When we did it, by the time he finished, he looked like a clown with shoes and nose and all, but all this guy did was put on a pair of white gloves. But overall, I totally loved it. Reply #45.
