I like "It's a Wonderful Life," but I also like some of the Hallmark Channel movies, especially "Christmas Magic" and "A Very Merry Mix Up."

As an atheist for the past 30 years, religious films aren't something I watch too much but I do have "I'll Be Home for Christmas" (1998) and "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946) on DVD. So, I guess one of those... probably the latter.

The Muppet Christmas Carol. Good mashup of Dickens and Muppets, great humor, great songs, and a perfect Christmasy tone. And, of course, it simply makes me feel happy.

The 1951 black and white version of 'A Christmas Carol' with Alastair Sim. I watch it every year, and it never fails to please me.

My teenage son recommended the family watch "Silent Night Deadly Night 2" - it's a horrible but hilarious horror movie from the 80's that takes place around Christmas. If you're into this type of ridiculousness, I highly recommend it. Not my favorite Christmas movie, that's a toss up between Scrooged and About a Boy but definitely worth a mention!
