I'd heard the news of Ellison's passing, but hadn't checked this chat line in a while. Years ago, I read and was impressed with his "Dangerous Visions". It had gone out of print, but I checked on Amazon, and it is now once again available. Yay! Think I'll give it a reread. He did a lot of writing for TV, notably, "The Twilight Zone" and "The Outer Limits." I'll miss his presence AND his writing. Rest in Peace, Mr. Ellison! Reply #1. Oct 16 18, 4:39 PM |

I was fortunate to meet Mr. Ellison a couple times at public lectures. He was funny, a bit profane and VERY interesting to listen to. All of his work, both fiction and non, is worth reading.
