Great! Okay then I would like to try "ballot" from Column A and "Francisco Franco" from column B. (I feel like I'm ordering in a Chinese restaurant). Reply #61. May 21 19, 7:07 PM |

All righty then it has been done: I have submitted one question containing both "ballot" and "Francisco Franco" to the People category, and one question containing both "ballot" and "Francisco Franco" to the History category. Scratch two more off! What's next? Reply #62. May 21 19, 8:09 PM |

Hello again. Okay by my count, I wrote my initial question pairs using capsule/"Abbott and Costello Go To Mars", and then I wrote questions using the valley/Archaeopteryx pair and the ballot/Francisco Franco pair. So I think I have one remaining to claim? That being the case I would like to claim "clover" and "William Carlos Williams". And sadly then I'm done. So okay, two questions to come--clover and William Carlos Williams, I shall report back soon with where I submitted them. Reply #68. May 24 19, 7:06 AM |

My first Fata Morgana question on the mirage, which I submitted earlier in the week, has been in the queue for a long time. This leads me to believe it may be too close to existing questions. I submitted another on the Fata Morgana amusement park ride to be on the safe side. I had asked for headache and Treme, New Orleans for my second pair. The Treme question has been accepted and I am working on headache. Reply #69. May 24 19, 7:13 AM |

OK! "Forest" went to Sci/Tech, and "Castile soap" to Hobbies. Now, for my third pair, I'll have "necklace" and "Republic of Venice", please! Reply #71. May 24 19, 5:41 PM |

"My first Fata Morgana question on the mirage, which I submitted earlier in the week, has been in the queue for a long time. This leads me to believe it may be too close to existing questions." That's unlikely the case. It's more likely due to a long queue, editors being busy, or even some fact-checking. In any case, there's nothing wrong with having two questions on the same term. 'My first Fata Morgana question'. I accepted this yesterday. Had there been an issue, you'd have received a message. Less than a week can hardly be called 'a long time'. You can have up to five questions in the queue, and can claim more words once you've submitted, so it wasn't a problem to wait for a few days. Reply #73. May 25 19, 3:02 AM |

It did come through, all the others came through so quickly I thought I had done something wrong. I seem to be making my way down the checklist of everything a newbie can get wrong, so it would have been par for the course! Reply #74. May 25 19, 4:36 AM |
