Mike Farrell was just right as BJ. I liked the Trapper in the original movie better than Wayne Rodgers on the TV show. Reply #2. Apr 06 20, 4:25 AM |

BJ and Hawkeye were a good team and Mike Farrell was very empathetic in his portrayal. Reply #3. Apr 06 20, 4:26 AM |

Dire is right. B.J. is a fine foil for Hawkeye; very different from Trapper, but that's not a bad thing. Also, because of the length of time B.J. was on the show as opposed to Trapper,, B.J. was able to develop more as a character. Reply #4. Dec 06 20, 6:28 PM |

Yes, I remember some good BJ centered episodes about his family that were really good. Comes in handy for all the MASH questions on here. :) Reply #5. Dec 06 20, 10:59 PM |

I thought Mike Farrell did a fine job. He and Alan Alda made a good team. I loved Trapper, but they didn’t let the character develop much. Reply #7. Apr 28 21, 2:37 AM |
