Subject: Sub-Sets - A Challenge

Hello hello hello!
FunTrivia is a site with a lot of...trivia. And to categorize that trivia we use a lot of...categories. You see where I'm going.
For this challenge, we're going to tackle what some of you want, but only those of you who step up and tackle what someone else wanted. Listed below are four subcategories in different parts of the site, all of which would be good starting points for new quizzes. The goal is to have someone write a quiz in each of them. Once a quiz is placed online for it, it'll get crossed off and the person who filled in that gap will get the chance to nominate their own subcategory to be written in. Once all four from the heat are online, the next four will be opened up.
If your quiz is placed online, you can send the new subcategory to me via private message and it'll get added into the mix. Only one quiz per author in each heat. The quizzes must go online in the subcategory specified. Remember: we want to work together at these. Choosing a super-narrow subcategory (like a TV show episode) is going to be more of a road block than a challenge!

The new subcategories suggested just go into the mix for the proceeding heat and anyone can write for those new subcategories. Once it goes online, it's claimed. That being said, writing for the subcategory you suggested would kind of reduce the point of the challenge a significant amount, otherwise people would just choose sections either in their wheelhouse or that they already have on the go. I think the fair thing here would be to say that you would be able to do any choice except the one you put in, just to avoid the bad precedent. Reply #13. Oct 09 21, 1:06 PM |
