It's the other side of Africa! The next destination in the trip is going to be the nation of Senegal, a French-speaking, coastal destination with a storied history. It's the western edge of the continent, the original ending point of the Dakar Rally, a nation of seafood dishes, and a unique melting pot of cultures. And it's also the spot to focus your quizzes. My Senegal-inspired quiz has been outlined, and will be my weekend project. Anyone else want to come along for the ride? Reply #29. Jul 19 23, 2:05 PM |

If it's any inspiration, originally this stop was going to be the more-specific Île de Gorée in Dakar. While we won't be stopping there specifically (we'll head to another continent instead), it'd be an interesting starting point for a quiz. Reply #30. Jul 19 23, 4:48 PM |

And with that we'll ditch the heat and keep the language by flying northeast to the French island of Corsica. This Mediterranean destination contains beautiful harbours, stunning and rocky coastlines, granite mountains, and the hometown of Napoleon Bonaparte. It's a destination with French and Italian influences and it's the sixth spot on this tour. Reply #32. Jul 22 23, 6:41 PM |

Too bad I had this already submitted last month, as it would have earned me that lovely Mondrian picture for my gallery. https://www.funtrivia.com/quiz/geography/islands-of-the-mediterranean-413279.html Reply #33. Aug 01 23, 2:02 PM |

Alrighty then, we're heading onward to the mainland and visiting the Hungarian capital of Budapest for our next stop. Straddling the Danube, you could go in any direction upon your arrival here, at least looking for a quiz topic, because it's a nation of major historical significance, it has a skyline of castles and palaces, it's a major sporting hub, and it's a unique food destination. Hungary for trivia? Hope so! Reply #35. Aug 15 23, 10:36 AM |

I wrote a nice quiz on Hungary (adopted) some time ago, but I suppose it can't be qualify retroactively :D. Reply #36. Aug 15 23, 12:25 PM |

Unfortunately nothing retroactive for these. Aim is to create new quizzes to fit the brief, otherwise we set a weird precedent. ;) Reply #37. Aug 15 23, 4:07 PM |

I know :D! It was more of a joke than anything serious. As I have visited Hungary a couple of times, I think I can make an effort and write about a different aspect of the country :D. Reply #38. Aug 15 23, 4:34 PM |
