Subject: Two of my favourite books!

Hello, friends!

I dearly love these two books. I hope you love them too!

The first is 'The Three Musketeers' by Alexandre Dumas. I'd recommend it to anybody who likes epics.

The second is 'Ordeal by Innocence' by Agatha Christie. It is a thrilling murder mystery. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries or other books by Agatha Christie.

I hope you enjoy enjoy these!

I enjoyed The Three Musketeers, but the Dumas book that I really love is The Count of Monte Cristo.

Dumas fils wrote some goodies too and my favorite of his is The Lady of the Camillas.

'The Count of Monte Cristo' is also a great Dumas book. Dumas is my very favorite author.

It's hard for me to pick one favorite author - would probably go with Balzac. His Pere Goriot is one of my very favorite books. Many of my favorites are French even though I have to read in translation.

It's a long one, Jacquilyn - although you have to be careful as so many of the library editions, especially if they are older ones are heavily abridged.

I love The Count of Monte Cristo. Once you get a few chapters in, you are hooked. Don't be scared of the size

I read "Count" years ago and although I had loved the Robert Donat movie, I found it (dare I say it as a classic book lover) kind of boring. Maybe I should give it another go soon!
