It is with great sorrow that the Admin team has learned that Veronicavee passed away at the end of June. Vee, who had been a member of FT since 2009, used to post on the Chatboards occasionally and our condolences go to those of you who knew her.

Veronica will be missed, but she's not hurting any more. I know, at least the last year, it was very hard for her to type. She was a good person who could not say anything bad about anything except rainy weather... Mommakat and Celine did extensive legwork to get the info confirmed. I first got to know Vee about 7 years ago Playing Crystal Ball..She has over 1300 Wins...She was always very nice to chat with..When either of us got a CB,We would toast each other by having a Brandy shot..We always said Join Me!...So to Vee I say,Join Me for One Last Brandy shot..Cheers!..R.I.P.Vee Reply #10. Oh, I'm very sad to hear this. She and I shared a few posts about our name connection. Veronica is not a very common name, but at one time there were 3 of us with variations of that name on Funtrivia. I remember when she was worried about the dangerous fires that were happening in Portugal when we were also having some here in California. Thank you Kat for your kind words. but I was not going to accept an absence without reason of someone so important to me as Vee. She was a very kind sole with compassion for others even though she was going through hell with her own medical problems. We were good mates for many years. When I was in hospital in 2018 for over 4 weeks she even went to the bother of sending flowers by Interflora....that is a true and caring friend. I am going to miss her almost daily messages every time I scored and of course I did the same in return. I explored every avenue I could but it was my daily nurse who finally solved the mystery and I will always be grateful to her for finding the truth for me and of course Vee's team. Reply #13.
