Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
What is your favorite classic book?
Don't worry, to me they are all new.

(Don't be worried about looking old because they're classic books.)

My favorite is the non-fiction book 'The Pianist' by Holocaust survivor W?adys?aw Szpilman. Roman Polanski made a film of the same name in 2002, starring Adrien Brody as the title role. It's also my favorite movie.

His name is Wladyslaw Szpilman. I don't know why there are question marks. Probably because of the stress marks.

I think this is a classic but I'm not exactly sure. I really like The Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall.

I don't really read the classics but my favourite what I would call a classic book is I would say Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy.

My favourite classics - the works of Dickens, Austen, C.S. Lewis, Oscar Wilde, and, of course, Shakespeare.

Dante's Inferno, but it depends on the translation. Not all translations are the same. I remember loving Gilgamesh when I read it. I love Robert Herricks poetry. Marlowe wasn't bad either.

My Shakespeare professor, she taught both tragedies and the comedies, caused me to stop reading his works. I wisely didn't take her class on the sonnets. To get a 4.0 in her class you didn't need to read the play. And original thought was forbidden in her class. According to her, we were students and not supposed to have any original thoughts. We were there to be taught to. All we had to do was regurgitate her blather. Once I figured that out, I was able to sit there in her classes and collect my A and then never remember a thing she said again.

I really love Charles Dickens, but I also love Jane Austen, and...
[insert nearly any other classic book author]
