Subject: NEW: Level-based unlocks

Over the next days and weeks, we will implement a system that provides more level-based unlocks. While this is mostly extras, it does entail a few restrictions as well for lower level players.

If you are of lower level (below 45), you may notice that some of the Challenge Tower halls are now hidden from you. This is part of a new setup where you will unlock new features every level up to 40 and on many levels beyond. Many of those features will be new, never seen privileges including modifiers to scoring. On average, you'll get a lot of extra things to do including cosmetic options, increased scoring and special perks. You can also expect never-seen privileges to be added to accounts all the way up to and beyond level 200. The current highest unlock planned is at 220!

We want to both make the experience less overwhelming to new players (400 challenges at a time is a LOT to digest) and provide extra motivation to rise through the early levels and unlocking more privileges as you go seems to be the best way to go.

If you happen to have been working on a challenge that is now locked to you, fear not. Your progress is fully saved and in fact, if you happen to accidentally (or intentionally) complete a badge that you currently don't see any more, you will still be given credit. (Of course if the badge is one that needs a manual claim, you'll now need the level - but you can fill the requirements at any time and it will be waiting for you to claim as soon as you meet the minimum).

Please bear with us as we transition to this new system that will emulate some proven features of multiplayer online games (let's not kid ourselves: FunTrivia is in many ways an MMO and one where YOU are the character! No arbitrary stat points, no Pay to Win(TM), just YOUR skill and persistence to reach those highest levels!)
