That question is still playing up. (It's my quiz). I've just received this correction note from another player: "Hi I have just completed Mystery of the Mystery quiz and got one wrong...it was the Yellow Box and this is the message I received: Item you incorrectly associated with this theme: "Artwork of A Young Girl Reading" but at the top where it says Mystery Box #5 was Yellow: We were looking for "Artwork of A Young Girl Reading". It should be fixed this time. I've just played it and got 20/20. The issue is that these look perfect on the author and editorial screen and the problem, if there happens to be one, only shows up when the quiz is played. Reply #4. Dec 02 23, 3:52 AM |

OK, here’s a good one for all of you authors and editors in Quizzyland. I wrote a mystery sort quiz, titled “Whise Colony is it, Anyway”, and it was placed online on 26 November 2023, in the History section. The quiz has 5 boxes and a total of 20 answers. There were no problems with the quiz until 1 December, when it began giving everyone who played it a score of 3/20, regardless of how many answers were correct. I received the first correction notice about the problem on 7 December. I tried changing the wording for the boxes, but that didn’t solve the problem. Any thoughts? Reply #6. Dec 07 23, 10:49 AM |

If you saved it in the new quiz editor after making the changes, try switching to the old editor and saving it there. I know it sounds crazy but I had an issue with one of my new style quizzes, and doing that resolved it. Reply #7. Dec 07 23, 11:33 AM |

Rossian, I tried saving the quiz using the old editor, and it created another mystery sort box! I tried playing the quiz, and it still gave out a score of 3/20, even when I purposely answered every question wrong! I will have to leave this one to the editors. Thanks again for your help. Creating an extra box is a clue - one of your answers is not exactly like the ones it belongs with. This is usually an extra space that you didn't notice. You can remove that issue by copying the answer you use the first time and pasting it into the rest of the answers where it fits. This is most easily done in the old editor. That may or may not help with the rest of the problem, which is being investigated. The editors are on a learning curve along with authors on these new formats, discovering what we need to look out for to prevent problems. Reply #10. Dec 07 23, 1:40 PM |

Thanks, looney_tunes. I re-worded several of the answers, and that eliminated the extra box. However, I have tried several different fixes, and the score is always 2/20 or 3/20.
