While most of the ponies were scared of the Everfree Forest and its creepy trees, Pinkie knew the correct response: laughter. She showed the others that by laughing, and showing that you're not afraid, scary things become a lot less scary. It is fitting that Pinkie Pie's Element of Harmony would be Laughter. Princess Celestia was the ruler of the day, and each morning, would raise the sun. Princess Luna was the ruler of the night, and would raise the moon. Over time, Princess Luna noticed that all the ponies would come out and play during the day, but would go to sleep and ignore her beautiful night. She felt unappreciated and became resentful of the day and her sister.

When her jealousy became too strong, she became Nightmare Moon. She attempted to defeat her sister and shroud Equestria in an eternal night. Celestia ultimately prevailed, and banished her sister to the moon. Celestia took over her sister's duties of raising the moon, and ruled alone. While the ponies of Equestria were glad that Nightmare Moon was gone, Celestia was sad that she had lost her sister.

A thousand years after being banished, the stars aligned and gave Nightmare Moon enough strength to return to Equestria (in the series premiere). She once again tried to create an eternal night, but she was stopped by Twilight Sparkle, her friends, and the Elements of Harmony. The Elements of Harmony transformed Nightmare Moon back into Princess Luna, who was remorseful for her actions. She was reunited with her sister, and they began to rule Equestria together, once more.

Queen Chrysalis was the main antagonist of the season 2 finale. The Alicorn Amulet was a magical object that granted the wearer great power while simultaneously corrupting them. Trixie used the amulet to defeat Twilight in a magic duel (season 3, episode 5). Difficulty: Hard.

Pinkie Pie is the party pony. She loves throwing parties and being with her friends. She represents the element of Laughter, and loves making her friends happy. Pinkie's cutie mark is three party balloons, two blue and one yellow.

Rarity's cutie mark is three blue diamonds, Fluttershy's cutie mark is three pink butterflies, and Rainbow Dash's cutie mark is a rainbow coloured lightning bolt. Difficulty: Easy.

King Sombra once treated the Crystal Empire poorly, and now he's trying to do it again. King Sombra was rumoured to have cast some sort of spell on the Crystal Ponies to make them forget everything. Difficulty: Easy.

"Winter Wrap Up" is sung by most of the ponies in Ponyville while cleaning up the winter weather. The songs from Best Night Ever are, "At the Gala", "I'm at the Grand Galloping Gala", and "Pony Pokey". The song from "May the Best Pet Win" is called, "Find a Pet Song". The song from "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy" is called, "The Flim Flam Brothers". Difficulty: Hard.

"Secret of My Excess" is the tenth episode of the second season. In this episode, Spike receives a lot of gifts on his birthday, and eventually starts to become greedy. He starts to take things from other ponies, and eventually becomes a giant, rampaging dragon that causes havoc in all of Ponyville. The title is a parody of "The Secret of My Success", a 1987 film. Before, it was first called "Giving Dangerously", and then changed to "Attack of the 50 Foot Dragon" before its current title. Difficulty: Hard.

This book is all about the elements of harmony and Nightmare Moon. This book is the key to solving many of the mysteries in this episode. Difficulty: Hard.

Rainbow Dash represents loyalty while Pinkie Pie is laughter, Applejack is honesty, Fluttershy is kindness, Rarity is generosity, and Twilight Sparkle is magic. Rainbow Dash proves her part when the six are going to rescue Princess Celestia when the Shadowbolts ask her to join and become the leader of their elite flying club for the best pegasi ever, but she politely declines and flies back to her friends. Her element is a gold necklace with a red thunderbolt on it. Difficulty: Easy.

Princess Celestia is responsible for raising the sun at dawn, but only once a year, on the summer solstice, do all the ponies gather together to witness the dazzling event. When she senses that Nightmare Moon, her rival and former co-ruler, was coming back after 1000 years, she sends Twilight Sparkle to Ponyville to discover the magic of friendship, which ultimately helps prevent Nightmare Moon from bringing eternal nighttime to Equestria. Afterwards, Twilight begins living in Ponyville and continues to learn about friendship, reporting her findings to Celestia at the end of each episode. Difficulty: Easy.

Rainbow Dash and Gilda used to be in the group when they were in flight school, but Rainbow dropped out because she didn't like the conditions. They both memorized the theme song to their group. Difficulty: Hard.

Spike stole a Phoenix egg because the teenage dragons told him to grab it, and smash it. Eventually, Twilight, Rainbow, and Rarity rescued Spike from the dragons and Spike kept the Phoenix egg for himself. Difficulty: Hard.

In the first episode of the show, Twilight is the first character seen, and the episode is all about her learning about friendship and stopping Nightmare Moon. She meets the other five characters (Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack) who become main characters in future episodes. Difficulty: Very Easy.

In the Everfree Forest, the ponies accidentally wandered through a patch of Poison Joke. The poisonous plant affected each pony differently. Pinkie Pie got a swollen tongue, and couldn't speak or sing (which was especially difficult for the talkative pony). Fluttershy, on the other hand, did not want to speak at all; her voice had become very deep, earning her the nickname "Flutterguy". Because Pinkie wasn't able to sing, she got Fluttershy to sing for her, while Pinkie did the dance part. Difficulty: Hard.

Even though originally you might have thought magic was the element, the true element that it really is, is friendship. Because magic = friendship, friendship is magic. Difficulty: Easy.

Rainbow Dash has the symbol of a cloud and rainbow lighting bolt. This is because she creates the sonic rain boom. Difficulty: Hard.

 

Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Shining Armor

Rainbow Dash represents the element of loyalty and has a pet tortoise named Tank. Difficulty: Hard.

 

Awesome, 40% cooler, You're kidding

Spike, being a dragon, has a slightly different diet from his pony friends. His favorite snacks are gems. The ponies use gems to decorate beautiful outfits, and sometimes as currency, but Spike just wants to eat them. He even tried to make a delicious gem cake for himself, but couldn't resist eating all the gems before he had made it.

He is also known to be fond of ice cream (which he often eats too much of) and doughnuts. Difficulty: Easy.

Rarity's passion is fashion. She loves all things glamorous and enjoys being a part of high society. She has a knack for putting together unique and stunning outfits for any occasion, and runs her own dress shop, the Carousel Boutique. Difficulty: Easy.

Ponyville is ruled by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The ponies help a lot too with their courage to fight Discord and also outsmart the bear that Trixie claims she scared off. Difficulty: Easy.

While she ends up choosing a red ribbon, she claims that "Sparkles always does the trick". Difficulty: Hard.

In the episode where they have to find the Elements of Harmony, Applejack is known as the honest one. Difficulty: Very Easy.

Twilight has to rewrite a spell, and she casts it. It changes the rest of the mane six's cutie marks. When Twilight finds the counter spell, Celestia takes her to space and Twilight turns into an alicorn! Difficulty: Easy.

Her cutie mark is most likely to represent the fact that she becomes the crystal princess of the Crystal Empire, which is strange because she has it before she becomes the crystal princess. She rules the empire with Shining Armor. She is first referred to as the crystal princess by one of the crystal ponies in "The Crystal Empire - Part 2" when she is flying through the air with the Crystal Heart. Throughout "A Canterlot Wedding", in both parts, the cutie mark switches between a crystal heart with one mirror-like facet at the center and a crystal heart with multiple facets in the middle. The toys use the cutie mark with one facet. When she has the crystal heart, her cutie mark shines as if affected by magic for a brief moment. Difficulty: Average.

They play Tic Tac Toe while they're waiting for Applejack and Fluttershy to go around the mountain to catch up with them. After losing the 35th game, Rarity asks, "Best of 71?" Difficulty: Hard.

Twilight eventually gets annoyed and just tells him to write that something really bad is about to happen! Spike can send and receive letters (and other things!) to and from the Princess through his magic breath. Difficulty: Hard.

In the episode, "Sonic Rainboom", she performed a Sonic Rainboom at the Best Young Flyer competition while rescuing the Wonderbolts and Rarity from falling all the way from Cloudsdale to the ground. In "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", at the end it is revealed that she performed her first Sonic Rainboom while racing to defend Fluttershy, and the rainbow had caused all her and her other five friends to all get their Cutie Marks. The last one is in "A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2" when she performs one easily at the end of the wedding. Difficulty: Hard.

 

One, Two, Four

If there's a party going on anywhere, Pinkie Pie will certainly be there (most of the time, she's the one responsible). Pinkie is a pony who loves nothing more than having fun and laughing. In "Feeling Pinkie Keen", she is revealed to have an unusual psychic ability, where different parts of her body suddenly make involuntary movements and tell her what is going to happen in the near future. Difficulty: Easy.
