6. This island, located in the Irish Sea, is known for its motorbike racing, short-tailed cats and waterwheels. What island am I taking about?

Answer: Isle of Man

Despite its location within the British Isles, this island is strangely not part of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland. It is a self-governing British Crown Dependency, which means it is a possession of the British Crown but has its own government.

The British monarch is the head of state, though the official title is The Lord of Man. Manx mythology is very rich and filled with stories of a mighty Celtic sea God, a ghostly black dog that wanders around Peel Castle, and fairies known locally as "the little folk".

The capital and largest town is Douglas.
