Taking the role of an early game counterpart to the protagonist Yu Narukami, Yosuke's Persona Jiraiya is weak to Electric while resisting Wind.

Yosuke holds down a role in management for this department store. It is through here where he is able to "hire" Teddie. He will periodically request the player's assistance at the store, primarily when it is understaffed.

When seeing Rise for the first time, Yosuke will essentially freak out. Before the team visits Shinjiro Beach, Yosuke will obsess at the opportunity to see Rise in a swimsuit. Of course, Yosuke has several occurrences that prove he really cannot adequately handle himself around women who he finds attractive, so he is a bit 'unsettling' around Rise in general throughout the game.

Yosuke's naturally high Agility can briefly become incredibly high with Auto-Sukukaja giving him a brief head start at the beginning of every fight. This can make him difficult for enemies to hit, as well as make Yosuke remarkably consistent at damaging whatever he targets.

This is one of few in the game that can be begun and maxed without any parameters needing to be fulfilled.

Answer: Throwing Namatame into the TV

When the player has to make their own decision regarding what they want to do, they find themselves speaking primarily to Yosuke, in addition to the rest of the team. When giving their thoughts, it will be Yosuke challenging said thoughts and prompting further dialogue from the player.

While the rest of the team chimes in here and there, it is mainly Yosuke who is animate about the situation.

Answer: Susano-o

In "Persona 3," Susano-o is the Ultimate Fool Persona who is usable for the player. In "Persona 5," Yusuke Kitagawa's third stage Persona is Kamu Susano-o, who is very similar to Susano-o only being slightly more powerful overall.

Susano-o, in Yosuke's hands, retains the weakness to Electric, but now has an outright immunity to Wind in addition to acquiring a resistance to Fire. As well, when Jiraiya evolves into Susano-o, he will immediately learn the Evade Elec passive skill, giving Yosuke a minor amount of protection to his one weakness.

Answer: Mada

Mada is a powerful Persona uniquely having access to Ragnarok, the strongest single-target Fire spell in the entire game. However, he is weak to Ice and does not learn a passive skill to patch this up, encouraging the player to do a bit of side homework if they want to optimize Mada.

Answer: Standing right next to Yu

Alongside Naoto Shirogane, the three of them go for a walk outside of Aiya to get fresh air and discuss the affair. If the player correctly guesses that Tohru Adachi is the culprit, Yosuke will reinforce this belief with the notion that he believed Adachi to be acting suspicious around the team.

This notion is furthered when Naoto offers her own thoughts on the situation, before the three return to talk to the rest of the team about it.

Alongside Teddie, it is here where Yosuke will say his goodbye. Interestingly enough, all these years later after the original game's release, when the game finally got remastered, dataminers uncovered cut content from the game suggesting Yosuke was originally intended to be a romanceable option for Yu Narukami.

This would've been significant, as "Persona 3", "Persona 4", and "Persona 5" do not otherwise feature any options for same-sex romance. Of course, it's impossible to say why this option was scrapped, but if it did not get scrapped, there would've been an added cutscene when Yu says goodbye to Yosuke that would've only played if the player had chosen to romance Yosuke.
