From Quiz There Are No Small Parts, Only Small Actors 2

Answer: Teri Hatcher

Teri Hatcher plays Janice in "Straight Talk", a young woman who meets Dolly Parton's character Shirlee Kenyon one morning in a diner. Hatcher's most successful roles are as Superman's love interest Lois Lane on "Lois and Clark" and Susan Mayer on "Desperate Housewives".

3. He was one of Sandra Bullock's movie husbands who made a blink and you'll miss him appearance in "Two Weeks Notice". Who was this?

From Quiz There Are No Small Parts, Only Small Actors

Answer: Mark Feuerstein

Before his scenes were cut, Mark Feuerstein was character Rich Beck in "Two Weeks Notice", but you can still see him as a guest at the wedding Bullock's character runs out of to answer an emergency call from her boss. Feuerstein played Bullock's husband Michael in "Practical Magic". Michael Pare was her cheating husband in "Hope Floats", Michael Samluk was her abusive husband in "Murder By Numbers", and Brenden Fraser was her political husband in "Crash".

4. A future star of Westerns and other tough-guy movies made his film debut as a laboratory assistant in 'Revenge of the Creature', but his name didn't appear in the credits. Who was it?

From Quiz Give Them Some Credit

Answer: Clint Eastwood

Perhaps best known for his gritty roles in Westerns such as 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' (1966), 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' (1976), and 'Pale Rider' (1985), and in cop movies such as those of the 'Dirty Harry' series (1971-88), Clint Eastwood also won Oscars for Best Director, for 'Unforgiven' (1992) and 'Million Dollar Baby' (2004). In 1955's 'Revenge of the Creature' (a sequel to 'The Creature From the Black Lagoon'), Clint delivered a few lines about lab rats. A pity that his character wasn't as useful as Dirty Harry might have been: "Creature, you've gotta ask yourself a question...". He also made early uncredited appearances in 'Tarantula' (1955) and several other films before he finally gained some recognition.

5. Mike and Bobby are two young boys who live with their mother and abusive stepfather. Their story is being told in "Radio Flyer", by an adult Mike to his children. Who plays older Mike?

6. Who played a stunt man named Bear in "Get Shorty"?

From Quiz Maybe Not Their Biggest Role...

8. Which actress played the part of Former Girlfriend in 'Jerry Maguire'?

From Quiz Who Played the 'Bit Part'?

From Quiz Big Films, Big Talents, Small Roles II

Answer: William Shatner

10. Played Forrest Gump, Jr., in 'Forrest Gump'?

From Quiz Big Films, Big Talents, Small Roles

Answer: Haley Joel Osment & Osment & Haley Joel Osmet & Osmet

I didn't realize it until I saw the movie recently, on cable. This must have been one of his first significant roles. IMDB shows his credit for this film as Osment, however to be fair I will allow both spellings.

11. Uncredited in the theatrical version of "Hannibal" (2001), what versatile actor played the role of the disfigured Mason Verger?

From Quiz To Their Uncredit...

Answer: Gary Oldman

Although Oldman wasn't credited in "Hannibal", the "Silence of the Lambs" sequel, he would be third-billed after the film ended its theatrical release (under Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter and Julianne Moore as Clarice Starling). Although the eventual TV show of "Hannibal" (released 2013-2015) would show how Mason Verger would become disfigured, Oldman played a version of the sadistic character who was disfigured from the get-go. Part of the reason behind keeping Oldman off the credits was to keep people guessing; Oldman originally insisted on high billing, but came back to the production and asked to be removed entirely. It took six hours per day to apply his prosthetics.

12. Mary in 'Anywhere But Here'.

From Quiz Uncredited Appearances

Answer: Thora Birch

Thora plays Natalie Portman's best friend.

From Quiz They Would Eventually Become Stars

Sean Connery had quite a number of bit parts during the late '50s, and was the leading man in a couple of minor films. His big break came when he landed the part of James Bond in "Dr. No" (1962).

14. Special Agent Binx, huh? That's right, before he was part of one of the top shows on television, who was the human form of Thackery Binx in "Hocus Pocus"?

From Quiz There Are No Small Parts, Only Small Actors 2

Answer: Sean Murray

His scenes in "Hocus Pocus" are few and far between because his character Thackery Binx gets turned into a cat by witches when he tries to save his little sister from the grips of the three life sucking hags. Although the character Thackery Binx continues in the movie as a cat that can interact and speak, Murray is not the voice of the animal. Sean Murray plays Special Agent Timothy McGee on the hit show "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service".

15. Think "Back to the Future" - who played Biff's friend Match?

From Quiz There Are No Small Parts, Only Small Actors

Answer: Billy Zane

Billy Zane's part as Match in "Back to the Future" was his first movie role, and though the sequel was more then three years later, he returned to play the part. Zane has had many roles since, but he may be best know for playing the villainous fiancé Cal Hockley in "Titanic" for which he won a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.

16. Surprisingly, the name of which famous comic actor was missing from the opening credits in the 1982 comedy movie 'Tootsie'?

From Quiz Give Them Some Credit

Answer: Bill Murray

Yes, Bill was indeed "unbilled" for his performance as Jeff Slater, the roommate of Dustin Hoffman's character Michael/Dorothy, in 1982's cross-dressing flick 'Tootsie' (at least at the start of the movie). According to celebritywonder, Murray agreed to the omission of his name from the opening credits so that audiences would not associate 'Tootsie' with the kind of comedy movies that he had previously appeared in, such as 'Meatballs' (1979) and 'Caddyshack' (1980). Murray would go on to star in films such as 'Ghostbusters' (1984), 'Groundhog Day' (1993), and 'Lost in Translation' (2003).

17. King Richard appears near the end of "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves". Which actor plays him?

22. What actress who appeared, masked and covered in disposable coveralls, played Simon Pegg's girlfriend, Janine, at the start of "Hot Fuzz" (2007)?

From Quiz To Their Uncredit...

Answer: Cate Blanchett

Though Janine only really appeared at the beginning of the movie (to break up with Simon Pegg's character, Nicholas Angel), it's that action that began Nick's life-changing job switch as he headed from London to the small, one-would-presume-to-be-idyllic town of Sandford. Cate Blanchett played the role, filming in one day, and donated her cameo fee to charity; she wasn't billed in the credits. Coincidentally, "Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson also had an uncredited appearance in "Hot Fuzz" playing a murderous Santa.

23. Danny McGrath in 'Billy Madison'.

From Quiz Uncredited Appearances

Answer: Steve Buscemi

Steve plays the man that Billy phones to apologize for tormenting him through his childhood years. Steve and Adam been in four movies together.

24. Who was the actor that portrayed the suicide victim at the beginning of "The Big Chill" (1983)?

From Quiz They Would Eventually Become Stars

Answer: Kevin Costner

Most of the original scenes that Costner appeared in were cut prior to final production. Some of his body parts are shown in the finished film, but not his face. Director Lawrence Kasdan compensated for cutting Costner out of the film by casting him in "Silverado" two years later. In 1987, Costner had his first starring roles in "The Untouchables" and "No Way Out".

25. Who is the not so plain Jane who plays second base for rival team the Racine Bells in "A League of Their Own"?

From Quiz There Are No Small Parts, Only Small Actors 2

Answer: Tea Leoni

Téa Leoni is barely noticeable in "A League of Their Own", but if you look closely about an hour, three minutes, and fifteen seconds into the movie you can see her swing a mean bat for the Rockford Peaches' rival team the Racine Bells. Leoni became better known after her role in "Bad Boys" and she co-stars with Jim Carrey in the update of the 1970s classic "Fun with Dick and Jane".

26. Which star of 'The French Connection' (1971) and 'The Poseidon Adventure' (1972) was hilarious in his uncredited performance as a blind man, in a monstrous black-and-white Mel Brooks film of 1974?

From Quiz Give Them Some Credit

Answer: Gene Hackman

Gene Hackman made a name for himself playing no-nonsense characters in films such as 'The Conversation' (1974), 'Mississippi Burning' (1988), 'Crimson Tide' (1995), 'Behind Enemy Lines' (2001), among many others. He won an Oscar for his performance as New York detective, Popeye Doyle, in 'The French Connection'. But no one could forget his brief comic performance as a blind hermit in Mel Brooks' 'Young Frankenstein'. The poor monster (played by Peter Boyle) was burnt in some pretty nasty places, thanks to the old man's bumbling kindness.
