This was the largest salary cap scandal to ever rock the National Rugby League or Australian sport for that matter. The Storm's 2007 and 2009 premierships were annulled, as well as their 2006, 2007 and 2008 minor premierships. In addition, the club was fined $500,000 and were sentenced to finish the season dead last without receiving a single competition point (including in bye rounds).
