Survivor: Worlds Apart Trivia Questions

1. What were the tribes divided by?

From Quiz
Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Social class

The tribes were divided into: Masaya, the white collars; Escameca, the blue collars; and Nagarote, the no collars.

2. Which Nagarote castaway revealed that they were deaf?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Nina

Nina told her tribe that she was deaf, but she possessed a hearing aid.

3. When So was voted off, the final vote was 4-2. Who was the only other person that voted with her?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Joaquin

Joaquin and So voted for Carolyn, while Max, Shirin, Tyler, and Carolyn voted for So.

4. Day 12 saw a tribal swap occur. What tribe was dissolved at this event?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Masaya

Day 12 saw a Reward Challenge, but before revisiting the slingshot challenge seen in past seasons, the three tribes were told to drop their buffs as, going forward, they would be shifted into two tribes of seven-- Escameca and Nagarote in blue and red buffs, respectively. Teams returned to those two specific camps to play out the rest of that portion of the game (which lasted only five days before the merge). The resulting tribal swap worked against the original Masaya tribe since two of their original members, Max and Joaquin, were eliminated in back-to-back Tribal Councils. Interestingly, the swap led four Escameca tribe members to remain together on their tribe and three Nagarote tribe members to stay on theirs. The new Escameca also took in six men while Nagarote had five women.

5. When Nagarote lost the second immunity challenge, it looked as if Nina would be sent home on a revote. However, which castaway blindsided the entire tribe by voting out Vince on an intended split vote instead?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Will

A younger alliance of Hali, Joe, and Jenn wanted to use Will to help split the vote 2-2-2, sending Nina home on a revote. Will, who didn't want to vote against Nina, blindsided the younger alliance, Vince, and Nina all at once.

6. What was the elected name of this season's merged tribe?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Merica

Tree mail arrived on Day 17 and the two tribes headed out with ambiguous clues to what lay ahead. Uniting just off the beach at a normal challenge spot, Escameca and Nagarote came together for the typical feast, taking on new black and blue buffs. Following the feast, the castaways returned to the old Escameca camp to find that their entire setup had been torn apart. They started from scratch for fire, water, and a shelter to get to know each other as a full tribe of twelve. Mike chose the tribe name Merica because it took on white (collar), blue (collar), and the no collar tribe, which used red.

7. At the sixth tribal council, it seemed to be Joe going home for being a physical threat. However, Mike plotted against Joaquin for his strong connection to Rodney. Who ended up being voted out that tribal?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Joaquin

Mike rallied his fellow blue collar allies, Dan and Sierra, to vote out Joaquin along with Joe, sending him out of the game in a 4-3 vote.

8. Day 35 saw the use of what unique, new game mechanic?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Double vote

On Day 25, the castaways attended this season's auction and three of them vied for the potential 'game-changing advantage', paying $480 for a chance at it. Dan, Carolyn, and Mike drew rocks to claim it; Dan won, discovering that his advantage was a second vote at a single Tribal Council in the future. He needed to announce its use before Jeff tallied the votes on that given Tribal Council for it to work. Tyler eventually found it in his bag on Day 29, notifying Carolyn, but it took until Day 35 for him to use it in an attempt to send Carolyn home. When she used her Hidden Immunity Idol, it didn't matter.

9. Which castaway won the most Individual Immunity Challenges in this season?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Mike

This season, only four castaways ended up donning the Individual Immunity Necklace, a relative low in terms of spread. Five of those wins ended up going to Mike, who dominated them for the bulk of the latter half of the game. Joe and Carolyn both had the necklace twice with the former eliminated as soon as it wasn't in his possession. Mike also ended up partaking in four of the six Individual Reward Challenges. On one of the rare occasions when Mike didn't have the Immunity Necklace, Day 32, he used a Hidden Immunity Idol to protect himself, negating four votes and avoiding his elimination.

10. After winning two individual immunity challenges in a row, Joe was definitely seen as a huge threat. Sadly for him, he could not continue his streak. Who did he lose the third individual challenge to, ending his streak?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Tyler

Joe was voted out at the following tribal council because he was such a threat to win the game.

11. At the Survivor Auction, which castaway was called out for backing out on a deal?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Mike

Dan, Carolyn, and Mike made a deal at the Auction: they would each spend 20 dollars on a letter from home, so if there was an advantage to be bid on, they would all have an equal chance to get it. Mike decided not to buy a letter, which he was called out for. He realized his mistake, and went back to pay for a letter, but everyone had already noticed. He then lost out on the advantage to Dan, and Mike was backed into a corner, isolating himself from his allies.

12. Which castaway was the Sole Survivor of "Survivor: Worlds Apart"?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Mike

On Day 39, after a finalist feast, a final three of Mike, Carolyn, and Will made their way back to Tribal Council to face off against the eight members of the jury they'd voted out. This time around, much deliberation was held around honesty, worthiness, and social capability. Although all three finalists received at least one vote, Mike ended up the runaway winner with a total of six votes to the others' single votes. Mike joined a small group of "Survivor" players who managed to take five Individual Immunity Challenge wins on top of the million dollar prize as the Sole Survivor of "Worlds Apart".

13. After a season full of Idol plays, blindsides, and many other events, which castaway was declared the Sole Survivor of "Survivor: Worlds Apart"?

From Quiz Survivor: Worlds Apart

Answer: Mike

After a long streak of immunity wins and a succesful Idol play, Mike was declared the winner in a 6-1-1 vote over Carolyn and Will.
