After being saved by Robin, Batman gives him a sample of his poisoned blood and instructs Robin to locate anyone with the poison in their veins. Earlier on in the game, the Joker poisoned Batman with his blood, and in order to coerce Batman into finding a cure, Joker sent out several other vials of his poisoned blood to hospitals in Gotham. The poison is the after effects of Joker's Titan overdose, back in the first game "Batman Arkham Asylum".

5. What is happening to Bruce Wayne as the game begins?

From Quiz Batman: Arkham City (PS3)

Answer: He is being taken by Dr. Hugo Strange's special police force as he is giving a speech.

6. Who freed the Joker and the other bad guys from Arkham Asylum?

From Quiz Batman: Arkham Asylum

Answer: Harley Quinn

After holding the mayor of Gotham hostage, Joker was taken (by Batman) to the high-security Arkham Asylum's Intensive Treatment ward for imprisonment but, unbeknownst to Batman and the police, a series of intricate plans was already underway. After a fire at the Blackgate facility, many of Joker's men were transferred to Arkham Asylum, and when the evil Harley Quinn kidnapped the warden and freed the Joker, Arkham went wild. It was up to Batman to put an end to the supercriminals' reign and prevent them from reaching Gotham City.

7. The Riddler offers his challenges in several different forms; exactly how many different types of Riddler challenges are there to solve?

From Quiz "Batman Returns" on the SNES

Answer: Stage 5 - To The Batmobile!

Sadly, the idea of increasing enemies' health according to the selected difficulty is exclusive to Stage 5, in which the only standard enemies encountered are Bikers. The only other time enemies' health is affected in this way is when they are caught in explosions. The higher the difficulty, the less health they lose in an explosion.

10. Who is the first villain you see, who you don't see again till the end?

Answer: Hugo Strange

13. The altered Venom formula used to create Bane-like creatures was known by what name?

From Quiz Batman: Arkham Asylum

Answer: Titan

While searching for a kidnapped Commissioner Gordon, Batman will come across 'Patient X', who turns out to be Bane. Although machines are attempting to remove the Venom from his body, it's refilled with Venom, a new compound created by a certain Dr. Penelope Young. Many of the villains in Arkham Asylum are after Dr. Young (who hides in Arkham Manor). With the amount of Titan in Joker's possession hiding in tanks in the Botanical Gardens, he has the power to create a thousand Banes.

14. Who breaks Poison Ivy out of her cell?

15. Apart from the standard 5000 points scored for completing a stage, how many points are scored during the battle with Campaign V. at the end of Stage 5?

From Quiz "Batman Returns" on the SNES

Answer: 0

This is yet another quirk of Stage 5. Throughout the rest of the game, points are scored for every punch, but in Stage 5, one scores points only when enemies are killed. As a result, each hit on Campaign V. is worth precisely nothing, and then insult is added to injury when no points are forthcoming during his lengthy explosion. This quirk also makes scoring points on Stage 5 particularly difficult on the Mania setting, and for that reason, attempts to score a record number of points are best attempted on the Easy and Normal settings.

From Quiz "Batman: Arkham Origins"

19. How many Riddler Challenges can be found throughout the game?

From Quiz Batman: Arkham Asylum

Answer: More than two hundred

Throughout all of the island, Batman can locate two hundred and forty Riddler challenges placed in their spots by Mr. Edward Nigma himself. The Riddler will often give hints in the form of riddles to help Batman on his way with these, but many will involve intense scrutiny without the help of a little puzzle. The Riddler's challenges include everything from question mark-shaped Riddler trophies, Interview Tapes, and chattering teeth. Each of these will give Batman more experience points. Aside from receiving trophies/achievements for collecting certain percentages of materials, it can be a real reward for the ultimate completionist to find everything.
