The object of the Haunted Mansion mini-game is to capture as many ghosts of your color in a vaccuum per two and a half minute round as you can. The game is in a best two out of three format, so even if you lose the first round, you can still win the game. A trick to the game is that if your opponent touches one of your team's color ghosts, they will become a ghost, themselves, for ten seconds. If you can capture them within those ten seconds, they will add two ghosts to your total. Looking at the teams, it appears that their colors are green and pink. However, if you take the time to read through the game's rules, you will see that it states that the team colors are green and purple.

The envelope icon serves two purposes. When you click on it, a window will open up showing you what messages you have received. These could either be notes from friends or alerts telling you that you have won something, such as credits from the Haunted Mansion game. If there is a message waiting for you and the message window isn't open, the envelope icon will flash to let you know something is waiting. The second purpose of the envelope icon is to show you a list of all of the people who are your friends on the game and whether or not they are online at that moment.
