These 2 Soviet dogs, Squirrel and Little Arrow, were accompanied by a number of other animals. They were launched August 19th 1960, and returned a day later.

Launched in 1960, it was a Television and InfraRed Observation Satellie.
3. Who was the first woman in space?

She travelled on June 16th 1963.
4. The first pictures from another planet were broadcast by?

From Venus. It was launched June 8th 1975.
5. Which Soyuz created the first known fatalities?

Answer: I

On April 12 1967. The parachute lines on the capsule appear to have tangled causing the parachute to fail. He was killed on impact.
