Newt asked Thomas to shoot him because he didn't want to live his life as a crank and slowly go crazy until he died when he got the Flare. Thomas did shoot him, but didn't tell Minho about it.

Answer: Kill

The code that the Gladers had to put in the machine at The Griever Hole, to escape the Maze, was (in this order) float, catch, bleed, death, stiff, push.
