Answer: Crossroads

Motel owner Lloyd says this to Eugene "Lightning Boy" Martone (Ralph Macchio) when he finds him and Willie Brown (Joe Seneca) playing the blues for clapping onlookers in his parking lot. Guitar prodigy Eugene helps Willie escape an old-age home in exchange for teaching him a song written, but never recorded, by Willie's old friend, the late blues legend Robert Johnson. Teenaged Eugene and cantankerous Brown hit the road headed to Mississippi where Willie has an old score to settle down at the crossroads -- with the devil.

This is Machine Shop Ear-bender's (M. Emmet Walsh) response to H.I. McDunnough's (Nicolas Cage) question, "Bill Henderson?". Newly married to police officer Ed (Holly Hunter), and trying to lead a straight life, ex-convict H.I. is heart-broken when Ed informs him that she cannot have children. Wanting a baby to share "the salad years" with, and adoption out of the question because of H.I.'s
"checkered past", they feel they have no other recourse but to kidnap a baby from the wealthy Arizona family, who have recently given birth to quintuplets.

Answer: Highlander

After spotting the wad of cash on him, the clerk of a NYC transient hotel says this to the Kurgan (Clancy Brown), one of the remaining, and most evil of all the Immortals. The Immortals, who have been fighting each other off through the centuries until only one remains, gather in the Big Apple to fight for The Prize.

Answer: La Bamba

This is President of Delphi Records, Bob Keene's (Joe Pantoliano) ultimatum to Ritchie Valens, who is about to walk out the door when Keene informs him that he wants to record seventeen year old Valens, but not Ritchie' band mates. Ritchie simply responds, "My family".

The biopic follows Valens from humble beginnings, through his meteoric rise to the top of the rock and roll charts, to his untimely death in a plane crash along with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper.

Answer: Adventures In Babysitting

This is what guitarist Albert "Iceman" Collins proclaims when babysitter Chris Parker (Elizabeth Shue) who, along with the kids in her care, find themselves on stage in a Chicago blues club. When Chris gets a frantic call from her scared friend stranded at the airport, she heads downtown, kids in tow, to pick her up. One crazy thing after another happens to them along the way in Christopher Colombus' directorial debut.

This is the response of one of the three Nixon mask-wearing robbers (James Woods) of a police evidence depository when stabbed in the stomach by one of the officers (Brian Dennehy). The officer lives, despite being shot at point blank range, and becomes a best selling author. Twenty years later the events of that tragic morning return to the forefront when a contract killer (Woods) approaches the cop-turned-author (Dennehy) to write a new novel -- non-fiction -- about the corporation, and its famous CEO, both for whom he was a hired gun.

Answer: The Hidden

Kyle MacLachlan's evasive explanation to Michael Nouri about what they are up against; he has yet to tell him that it is actually an alien that invades the bodies of humans and runs their bodies down, until it finds another body to get into. Oh, and did I mention, it likes fine things, like money and Ferraris? It's a great sci-fi action thriller.
8. "Linda? Do you know you've got a man hanging from your ceiling?" - 1986

Answer: Sid and Nancy

Regarding the nude older gentleman chained to the ceiling, Sex Pistols singer Johnny Rotten (Andrew Schofield) poses this question to the flat's owner, friend and dominatrix Linda (Anne Lambton). The film follows Sid Vicious of The Sex Pistols, his blossoming love affair with American groupie, Nancy Spungen, and their subsequent descent into heroin abuse. Nancy sums it up best early in the film when she says: "Never trust a junkie".

Brad Whitewood Sr.'s (Christopher Walken) ominous words to his sons, Brad Jr. and brother Tommy (Sean and Chris Penn), regarding an old member of Whitewood's criminal gang, Lester.

Answer: House of Games

Mike's (Joe Mantegna) last words to Margaret (Lindsey Crouse), the woman he seduced and conned out of eighty thousand dollars, as she unloads her pistol into him. The movie was penned by playwright David Mamet and was his directorial debut.
