"Charmed" Third Season: Part One Quiz

In the last episode of the second season Piper orbed out with Leo to get to know his world, but lost sense of time and didn't realize she was missing for a month. At the beginning of the third season, Piper and Leo orb back in, fighting with each other.

It turns out that the Elders want Leo to stop seeing Piper. Later in this episode Leo comes up with a solution: if they get married in secret, "they" won't be able to break the holy union apart. At first Piper is reluctant to accept Leo's proposal, but after thinking it through, she says "yes".

Answer: Rutabaga

Leo and Piper plan to get married, but don't want the Elders to find out about this. So when they talk about Piper's wedding, they use the word "rutabaga". Unfortunately the marriage doesn't happen, because in the last moment Leo is taken away by the Elders. It turns out that in spite of the eclipse of the sun, "they" knew what was going to happen thanks to the information shared by Cole Turner, aka Belthazor.

Answer: a wolf and an owl

Christopher and Brooke are in love with each other. But Brooke's boss, an evil sorcerer, takes fancy to her. When she rejects him, as punishment he turns her into a wolf and her lover into an owl for half a day. The only way to break the curse is for Brooke to give in to him or for "the night to happen during the day", which is the eclipse of the sun.

The Halliwells help them to ward off the sorcerer's attack, and the two lovers can finally be together.

The Charmed Ones are sent to colonial Virginia to save a magical baby from an evil witch, who summons a demon from the future - Belthazor, for help. All this takes place on All Hallows' Eve, when all magical powers are at their peak. The sisters manage to save the mother and help deliver the baby, who turns out to be their ancestor, Melinda Warren.

Answer: He is sensitive to cold

Troxa is Belthazor's rival and pledges to destroy him after dealing with the Charmed Ones. He is invisible, but cold is revealing to him. That's why Cole, upon entering the Manor in his search for the "Book of Shadows", opens all windows and turns the air-conditioning on. And Prue catches Troxa in a trap, but the demon disappears, pulled down by The Source. Cole himself falls into this trap for demons, but he manages to talk his way out of it.

Answer: The possessed Piper kisses differently

Piper goes to her school reunion party and gets possessed by an evil spirit, Terra, created from the blood of Kierkan, an alchemist. Together with Prue and Phoebe, Terra manages to vanquish the alchemist, but has no intention of leaving Piper's body. The only way for her to get out is kill Piper. And that's what Prue does. Then she gets Leo, whose body is now possessed by Terra, to resuscitate Piper. And the Charmed Ones use the power of three to vanquish the evil spirit.

Answer: "Power Outage"

She uses it to fight Belthazor, who came to the Manor to destroy thee Charmed Ones. But they succeed in repelling him. Belthazor, who poses as assistant district attorney Cole Turner, is then accused by the Triad of betrayal, because he fell for Phoebe and couldn't bring himself to kill her. Cole is sentenced to death, but he takes out the Triad and slays them.

Answer: Leo

Phoebe can't bring herself to kill the demon, because she loves him and is convinced that he is good and loves her, too. So she fakes Belthazor's death and tells Prue and Piper that she killed him. But in the end she feels she cannot longer live with her secret and confides with Leo.

Answer: Power to clone

The power to clone made him practically invincible. Thus he killed a few witches and escaped the Charmed Ones. Only when he killed a whitelighter, did he become vanquishable, because, apart from the whitelighter's power to orb, now he possessed also their weakness and become vulnerable to darklighter's poisoned arrows. That's how Prue slayed him: by deflecting a poisoned arrow he shot in her direction and hitting him with it.

Answer: "Blinded by the Whitelighter"

Leo and Piper obtain permission from the Elders to get married after the Charmed Ones vanquish Eames, who wanted to exterminate the whitelighters. Eames was a warlock, who got his extraordinary powers - like the power to clone or change shape - from the witches he killed. Then he killed a darkligther in order to get his crossbow and a whitelighter in order to obtain a power to orb.
