Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. It's Monday morning and House is late for work. Again. He walks into the door thirty minutes late. What is your response?

Answer: Roll your eyes and make a sarcastic comment.

House walks in late nearly every other day! Why reprimand him when he will just do it again? Making a sarcastic comment is on his level and the best course of action. It's how you two communicate.
2. A patient from the clinic is upset because House has said something rude (for the millionth time). What do you do?

Answer: Make House apologize.

House may be the best doctor you have but he can't get away with being rude to the patients! You ALWAYS make him apologize even if it means dragging him into your office and demanding one in your presence. After all, the hospital couldn't survive if House was sued every other week!
3. House comes running into your office yelling about how some guy's pancreas is about to explode because his brain is on fire. House is sure he knows what he's doing, and even though it sounds outrageous you don't think you have another option. What is your best course of action?

Answer: Trust him, but proceed cautiously.

If there is one thing you almost always do, it's trust House. He is right about nine and a half out of ten times. If you don't let him take a chance, then his patient might die. He is extremely stubborn and arguing with him would waste precious time. That's why you constantly warn him of the reprucussions if he's wrong.
4. House tells you that he's pretty sure he knows what is wrong with his patient. However, the treatment he presents is unethical and there is a very large chance the patient will die. What do you say to House?

Answer: "No way Jose! Find another method!"

There is NO way you can let House treat a patient unethically. He could kill them! No matter how much he argues you say no. However, he always does the treatment anyway and you forgive him because he is almost always right. That's one of the reasons why he gets away with so much.
5. You have been trying to get pregnant through a sperm donor for a very long time but have been unsuccessful. House finds out about it and, while detoxing, makes an unusually cruel comment. How upset do you get?

Answer: You cry when he's not around. You don't want him to know it hurt.

You can take a lot from House, but cruel is just...cruel. You enjoy shooting sarcastic comments back and forth with the man, but he knows when he is being downright nasty. And he knows that you are never nasty. You may not be as emotional as some women, but you have feelings and vulnerabilities too! The down side? House knows where you're vulnerable...
6. Oh boy, House has really done it this time! He's on trial and looking at up to ten years in jail. You have a plan devised to keep him out but it would require you to lie under oath. What should you do?!

Answer: Perjure yourself to save his butt. You need him!

If House went to jail he could lose his license, and you believe that the hospital couldn't survive without him. You have to protect him at all costs even if it means risking yourself. If only House knew how much you have sacrificed for him.
7. House ditched his clinic hours this week, and even though you know he hates the clinic the hours need to be made up. How do you get House to do his clinic hours?

Answer: Any of these

When House is uninterested he complains and treats the patients rudely. When he is interested, he will work quickly and efficiently. If you offer him a game, then he becomes engrossed with the game and does his hours. If you make a bet, he is preoccupied with beating you and does his hours.

Then, of course, you have threatened him (which you generally don't tend to do unless you're upset). But each option works well, and you use them often.
8. A pregnant mother is admitted to the hospital and her condition quickly deteriorates. It's clear that the pregnancy is hurting the mother, but the baby's chances are low if it is delivered early. House claims only the mother can be saved and that the pregnancy should be terminated. Your conscience says you can't let the baby die. How do you handle this? Do you listen to House?

Answer: No. All resources should be exhausted to save BOTH lives.

You know that House is the best doctor that you have, but he always jumps to conclusions. To you, an unborn baby and her mother are just as important and both should be saved. Both are your patients and both deserve an equal chance. House often accuses you of being too emotional when making a decision like this one, but that's the way you are. You are a persistent woman and will work until a solution is reached that can save the maximum number of lives.
9. You are in the middle of a date when House shows up at your home to interrupt (on purpose of course). He has no intention of leaving, but you have to get rid of him. How do you get House to leave?

Answer: Accuse him of liking you.

House is a very unemotional person so talking to him about his feelings usually gets him on the losing side of an argument. You would never tell him about your personal life (he would blackmail you) and if you just shut the door on him he would keep knocking until you went crazy! By asking him an uncomfortable question, he will get uncomfortable, know he has lost the discussion, and leave. And you would also like to know why he's so interested in your love life...
10. You have just faced a tragic situation and are devastated. House shows up and, thinking he's there to laugh in your face, you get mad at him. Then, all of a sudden, he kisses you! You've got to make a split second decision. Quick! How do you react?

Answer: Kiss him back of course!

Of course you would kiss House if he kissed you! You have always had an inexplicable affection for the man (you would never admit it of course). You know that his comments about your wardrobe mean he thinks you're pretty, and your inability to hold a relationship means something, or someone, is in the way. You may say that the kiss was caused from your defenseless state of mind, but your attraction to House isn't exactly a secret either.
