Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Exiting another game, Matrix and AndrAIa wound up in a brand new system. Almost as fast as they left the game, gun fire and explosions shook the system. A new group of sprites were seen attacking a group of glowing balls. The leader of the group was named Rob Cursor. Which "ReBoot" character did Rob have a striking resemblance to?

Answer: Bob

Rob Cursor was among the many new sprites seen in what was called the "Hero Selective". The group had a superhero-esque stature in the episode, as they were equipped with all sorts of special powers. Rob Cursor startled both AndrAIa and Matrix at the beginning, because of his extreme resemblance to Bob. Matrix was convinced it was Bob, but unfortunately for him it was just not the case.
2. After talking with the "Hero Selective", it was revealed that the shiny orbs which Rob and his heroes were chasing were called Spectrals. It was also revealed that the "Hero Selective" were also once Spectrals. Why did they take the form of sprites?

Answer: So they could win games in order to keep their system safe.

After capturing the two Spectrals at the beginning of the episode, it was revealed that the all of the heroes were once Spectrals. They had to take on the form of sprites so they could win the games and prevent their system from being vanquished. The Spectrals thought that the heroes were traitors because they had all but denounced their old formats.

The heroes were purposely losing games because of them. The purpose of losing was to persuade the Spectrals to become like them.
3. The two captured Spectrals were freed whilst the "Hero Selective" were distracted by a round of drinks. Who freed them?

Answer: AndrAIa

Despite the two opposing sides of the war between hero and Spectral, AndrAIa decided to free the Spectrals. She told Rob and the heroes that nothing deserved to be hunted and caged. Powerlock, the suspiciously hostile hero, threatened AndrAIa, but Matrix told him that to get to her, Powerlock would have to go through him. AndrAIa wanted to leave, but the heroes did not want to let her.

As a result, she used her trident and created a beam of light which led the heroes to believe she left to be with the Spectrals.

In reality, she only hid somewhere safe within the heroes' base.
4. Because the heroes were trying to prove a point to the Spectrals, the system was made more and more unstable. Because of that, what system endangering things began to pop up throughout the system?

Answer: Tears

Because the "Hero Selective" chose not to play the games, the system began to show it's instabilities. Tears began opening up throughout the system. Tears were large balls of energy containing different levels of volatility. The first one that the heroes mentioned was one that could have potentially decimated the entire system. Rob told Matrix that he would never let the system get that unstable, so the explanation that the heroes caused the tears was quickly eliminated.

A more sinister explanation was later revealed.
5. After mending one of the system endangering energies with the Spectrals, AndrAIa revealed that it was not the heroes who caused it. The cause of the energies was revealed to be viral in origin. The first virus was revealed to be what?

Answer: One of the Spectrals

After pointing out the viral fact, Matrix and the heroes showed up to assist AndrAIa. The viruses were apparently downloaded after the first game, and they were both destroying the system. The first was revealed to be one of the Spectrals. Because Spectrals were all but energy, the heroes utilized their powers to capture it. To capture the Spectral virus, Booty, of the "Hero Selective", froze it with his freezing powers. One of the other heroes eventually silenced it after it began to rant maniacally.
6. After discussing the possibility of viruses threatening the system, the Spectrals were unsure as to why their scanners could not detect them. Matrix revealed that the viruses probably had what to hide them from the scanners?

Answer: A cloaking device

After explaining to the Spectrals that the viruses likely had a cloaking device to shield themselves from the scanners, Matrix said that Glitch could detect the viruses at his range. The viral Spectral went ballistic and started a battle between the Spectrals and the heroes.

The battle ended when Rob Cursor told the Spectral leader that alone, neither of the two groups could save the system. Both groups eventually joined up to confront the final virus.
7. The first virus was easily taken care of, but before he was defeated, he revealed there was a second virus in the system. The second virus took the form of which of Rob Cursor's heroes?

Answer: Powerlock

The second virus was creating the tears in the system from a program in the Principal Office. The heroes and the Spectrals raced to the Office and found Powerlock and Frisket inside. Frisket was barking at Powerlock. When the group arrived, Powerlock told Matrix to call of his dog. Powerlock made up an unbelievable story about the dead Spectrals in the room being viruses. Matrix told Frisket to sniff for the second virus. Frisket sniffed one of the dead Spectrals and immediately continued to bark at Powerlock, revealing him to be the second virus.
8. After Frisket revealed the identity of the second virus, the virus became hostile. The virus fired a projectile weapon at the "Hero Selective". One of the heroes were killed in the blast. Which hero was killed?

Answer: Rob Cursor

Noticing the misfire in Powerlock's gun, Rob Cursor pushed Matrix out of danger's way, before being crushed by several tons of steel. After being crushed, Cursor asked Matrix if the system was out of danger. Matrix told him it was. After the reassurance, Cursor told Matrix that where he goes, he goes alone.

After his speech, Rob Cursor was deleted. Had it not been for Rob, Matrix's adventure would have come to an abrupt end.
9. Matrix gave the second virus mercy and instead of deleting it, he let it exit the system unharmed.

Answer: False

Matrix had a deep hate for viruses and he would have never let a violent virus like Powerlock survive. After Powerlock crushed Rob Cursor, Matrix locked his gun onto Powerlock. Matrix fired his weapon and the virus was disintegrated. All that was left of Powerlock was his trademark cigar, which AndrAIa promptly extinguished with her shoe.
10. At the end of the episode, the heroes and the Spectrals managed to make peace.

Answer: Yes

After destroying the viruses and losing Rob Cursor, a new game-cube was descending onto the system. Matrix and AndrAIa wanted to stay behind and help the two groups patch things up. The Spectrals told the two to go into the game and find their way home, because they had already made great strides towards making peace. Matrix and AndrAIa left the system and continued their quest to find Bob and Mainframe.
