Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the episode "F.U.N.", Plankton sings his own version of SpongeBob's "F.U.N." song. How does he finish this line: "F is for fire that burns down the whole town. U is for uranium bombs! N is for no..."?

Answer: Survivors

Plankton manages to inspire sympathy from SpongeBob, who believes he is evil only because he needs a friend. Thus SpongeBob befriends him, and while playing together, they sing the "F.U.N." song. Unfortunately, Plankton is only pretending to be friends so he can steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula! Mr. Krabs tries in vain to convince SpongeBob of this.
2. In "MuscleBob BuffPants", SpongeBob purchases inflatable muscles, fooling Sandy into believing that he has finally managed to effectively work out, and so she enters him into what kind of competition?

Answer: Anchor toss

Sandy gives SpongeBob the bad news that training with his weights (which have teddy bears on the ends!) will not get him fit. Therefore when he sees a commercial on TV for "Anchor Arms", he buys them, and becomes admired by the whole community for his impressive musculature! However, Sandy enters him into the anchor toss competition before he can stop her, and thus his inflatable arms are put to the test in front of everyone at the beach!
3. In "Squidward The Unfriendly Ghost", SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally kill Squidward with a flying shell.

Answer: False

In fact, their shell hit a wax replica that Squidward had made of himself, but they believe it's the real Squidward! As they begin to realize the horror of what they've done, the real Squidward emerges from the bathroom after a shower, wearing a white turban and bathrobe, and bringing a cloud of talcum powder with him, causing SpongeBob and Patrick to believe it is his ghost.

They then attempt to "put him to rest", to Squidward's horror!
4. In the episode "The Chaperone", Pearl is stood up by her prom date, so Mr. Krabs attempts to find a replacement date for her after his offer to take her himself upsets her even more. Who ends up accompanying her to the prom?

Answer: SpongeBob

Pearl is upset after being stood up by her boyfriend, nicknamed "Long, Tan and Handsome", and reluctantly accepts SpongeBob as her date. Unfortunately, he turns the prom into a disaster, leading him to completely break down and take refuge in the girls' bathroom! In the end, Pearl enjoys her time, but she doesn't realize that her date is actually a dummy of SpongeBob instead of the real guy!
5. In "Employee of the Month", SpongeBob and Squidward are vying for the Employee of the Month award at the Krusty Krab. Who eventually wins it?

Answer: We don't know

SpongeBob is usually the shoo-in for the Employee of the Month award at the Krusty Krab, but this month, Squidward resents his complacence and decides that he could just as easily win the award if he puts the effort in. An extreme battle develops between the two, including both of them staying up all night in an attempt to get to work first, and then on the way to work setting many traps to hinder each other.

When they finally get there, they are trying so hard to impress a bewildered Mr. Krabs that they make so many Krabby Patties that the Krusty Krab explodes before Mr. Krabs has a chance to give the award to anyone!
6. In "Scaredy Pants", SpongeBob is tired of always getting scared on Hallowe'en, and dresses up in order to scare others for a change. As whom does he dress up, enraging the real-life counterpart at the Krusty Krab Hallowe'en party?

Answer: The Flying Dutchman

SpongeBob decides to dress up as the Flying Dutchman in an attempt to scare the citizens of Bikini Bottom. His costume is a ridiculous parody, comprising clogs and a sheet over his head, which Patrick shaves down to a circular shape to better resemble a ghost.

The Flying Dutchman comes to Bikini Bottom, enraged at people dressing up as him every year for Hallowe'en, and, as SpongeBob's is the worst he's ever seen, he claims his soul!
7. When SpongeBob is away for the weekend in "I Was a Teenage Gary", he entrusts Squidward with the care of his pet snail Gary. What horrible event transpires after Squidward neglects Gary?

Answer: SpongeBob is turned into a snail.

When SpongeBob goes to a jellyfish convention for the weekend, he asks Squidward to look after Gary. However, happy at the prospect of a SpongeBob-free weekend, Squidward promptly forgets all about the poor snail, who hasn't been fed or watered even once by the time SpongeBob comes back.

After calling the vet, Spongebob is given snail serum to inject into Gary, but cannot bring himself to do it. Squidward's attempt results in him injecting SpongeBob by mistake! The serum turns him into a snail, much to Squidward's terror.
8. In "SB-129", who gets trapped in the Krusty Krab freezer and wakes up 2000 years in the future?

Answer: Squidward

Squidward hides in the Krusty Krab freezer in an attempt to get away from SpongeBob and Patrick, who are pestering him to go jellyfishing with them. However, when he tries to get out, he realizes the door is stuck, and he is only discovered 2000 years later when a clone of SpongeBob frees him from the frozen room.

He uses the future's time machine to get away, but ends up in a timeless "nothingness", and soon ends up very afraid of the solitude he has sought.
9. In "Karate Choppers", SpongeBob and Sandy are constantly sparring with each other to practice their karate, and soon their obsession goes too far and causes what to happen to SpongeBob?

Answer: He gets fired from the Krusty Krab.

Sandy and SpongeBob are often surprising each other with random attacks. Mr. Krabs is astonished when SpongeBob lets his obsession affect his usually immaculate work, and demands that SpongeBob give up karate as it is interfering too much with work. However, Sandy ambushes him at work and does not believe SpongeBob's protestations that he cannot do karate or he will lose his job. Mr. Krabs catches them sparring and fires SpongeBob despite his explanation.

Although he gets his job back providing he no longer does karate, SpongeBob cannot help himself, but in the end Mr. Krabs benefits as he allows SpongeBob and Sandy to serve up Krabby Patties using karate moves.
10. In "Sleepy Time", SpongeBob's dream self finds itself able to venture into his friends' dreams, much to their annoyance! In whose dream does SpongeBob foil an attempt to catch a "whale"?

Answer: Mr. Krabs

SpongeBob dreams of racing a car when Mrs. Puff turns up and ejects him from his own dream. The dream SpongeBob wanders around Bikini Bottom, jumping into the clouds above people's heads, which takes him into their dreams. While looking for Mr. Krabs's dream, he jumps into a dream of a tea party and is astonished until he realizes that it's Pearl's dream. Mr. Krabs's dream is of him trying to catch the famed "Moby Dollar", which is a huge banknote rather than a whale. SpongeBob lets the dollar escape, much to Mr. Krabs's fury.

When he finally wakes up, he is surrounded by his friends, annoyed at him for interfering with their dreams.
