Anybody remember Headbanger's Ball on MTV in the 80s and 90s? This is the place to be if you like that kind of noisy stuff. Thought I'd throw a bunch of boss-rocking videos from that era, and I'm sure many from outside that era, and please do feel free to contribute. If it isn't exactly classified as metal or if you aren't really sure, don't worry about it. As long as it rocks a little bit on the harder side. Anything with bands performing on stage or anywhere else along with out of control fans stage diving and crowd surfing is great, but this is certainly not intended to be limited to that. Just grab a fistful of metal and see if you can punch my lights out with it. :-)

Yeah, I forgot all about that one, Jo. I'm thinking that may have been the very first rock/rap tune ever made. Here's Aerosmith with a special guest on the guitar, and what's really cool about the whole thing is that they are doing my hands down favorite Aerosmith tune of all. Okay, Elle, I know you love Zeppelin but what about Zeppelin wannabes? Here's a Zeppelin wannabe band from the late 80s. Made Headbanger's Ball for a while. Doesn't have what it takes to make my favorites list but I guess it's pretty rocky and rolly. I'll say this much for it - they blast out so much sound that it blows a tattoo right off this guy's arm. Wow, Jo, I just found out that Disturbed has a new album coming out soon and I have the song titles right here. Jo, this is really amazing and ironic, but believe it or not, the Priest Beast is also about to release a new CD in a few weeks. Just thought you'd like to know the song titles on this one as well. The name of it is Playing a Losing Game and it looks like all 10 of these songs are going to be tied for #1 for months.... Bubble Baths Are Fun I can't print the lyrics for this one in case they scare people, but this song was written for the new It movie, part 2, for the scene where grown up Stan Uris bows out of the game.
