Subject: We are many

Hey. We have DID, which stands4Dissociative Identity Disorder. our system name is now the sanctuary hope system. &we have a cluster group (mostly comprising infants&toddlers--an army of them) named Legion (a small portion of the group splintered off2become Rogue Legion... these are folks stuck in destructive ways&past beliefs detrimental2the whole. some people might consider how we live our lives2b detrimental, since we dont attend therapy or take medication (there is no treatment4DID, only the symptoms of comorbid disorders).

DID used2b called MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder); that's outdated, since DID isnt a personality disorder. &we dont care4the term alters, since we see ourselves as people (some systems say parts, &that's fine&good4them; however we prefer folks or Legion.

Hikarumichi is leader of sanctuary hope system, &Osanu is leader of Legion. if we sign a name at the bottom of the post, it indicates who wrote the post. if someone wants2call attention2a specific person in this head, simply write the name of that person. otherwise, whoever fronts next will try2answer any questions yu might have, or continue whatever convo was already started, etc.

sometimes, we get passionate about things, or carried away with emotion. we'r trying2do better, since this has cost us 2friendships with fellow DID/DDNOS systems.

- Legion

do you realize
how hurtful that is?
I suppose... you do not;
think before you speak:
we are different,
and no one
should have to apologize
for being themselves.

If space is what you need,
then maybe
you do not deserve them;
they give you everything,
because they are told
only you will love them.

it is heartbreaking
to those who truly care
to see the damage
you and your ilk have wrought.

We do Google searches sometimes... for various reasons. On reason is we feel the need to do "exposure therapy" even though it triggers us to doso, cause not doing that triggers us more. However, exposure can make us feel "fake," and so that's why we looked this up:
==============================================
Exposure therapy has been scientifically demonstrated to be a helpful treatment or treatment component for a range of problems , including:
• Phobias.
• Panic Disorder.
• Social Anxiety Disorder.
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
• Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
++++++++++++
C-PTSD and GAD. Some of us have OCD or related conditions

I do not thank you for the memories
I do not thank you for the memories. They do not comfort me. "Let go," I am told, yet it is not that simple. Only someone who has suffered the indignity of mental illness could hope to understand. My nights are sleepless, or spent tossing and turning as phantoms haunt my nightmares. So, no, I do not thank you for the memories. I wish to leave them behind, yet they follow me like ghostly fingers, reaching, grabbing, tearing.

it's OK to talk

Nick, your friends know well. However, they don't know grief. You can't just put a time limit on it. You can't just "not" talk about those you've lost, those you cared deeply for. Why do they want you to forget Nancy's name; that's not helping. It's *healthy* to reminisce about the dearly departed. It's *not* healthy to keep the pain inside, to try to stave off grief like some dread disease.

Let them believe whatever
Just let them believe whatever. They will anyhow. It matters not how fervent yu are to convince them what is true... If they don't want to see it, nothing will open their eyes. Truth means nothing to those set against it. Only those with open minds can discover the truth. Only those who are truly enlightened will follow that truth to its source. Many will claim to know what truth is, but most know it not because their hearts are closed.

Quit Calling them "Skunk Devil" and "Demon of the North"

They're wonderful beings fighting to survive, not some vicious mythical monsters without souls. They don't deserve poison, nor do they deserve what climate change threatens to do to them. They look to you for protection, since they hqave no "voice" of their own, at least not one you and I can understand. They have as much right to exist on this planet as you and I do. Don't allow bureaucracy/politics to dictate what you can and cannot do. Keepp fighting for them and other vulnerable species. Do right by nature's creatures.

the darkness it surrounds me
my healing never finding
truth it is alluding me/us
when will it end?
I want it all to end.
free me from this abyss,
the black hole that grows every day...
where is the light?
weep for the light.

healing
safety
do not exist
they are just words
empty words in my head
while sirens drone on
and THERE IS MUCH CLANGING
AND MARCHING
AS WELL AS SINGING
IN A CERTAIN CADENCE
THAT IS UNSETTLING
AND PULLS ME ALONG
IN THE WAVE OF MADNESS

There Goes the Sun

I know it "looks" like he's gone mad, but Robin's just seeing another world. He met someone from the Infinity Realm, who told him about the fight with the Purple Witherers. The Infinity Army had been winning; they just lost though. Your son's having trouble focusing because he just had a "vision" in real time of what's going on in the other world. The hospital won't help Robin because he isn't losing his mind.. He needs someone who will understand, not be skeptical or suspicious. He doesn't need a doctor who will just prescribe a pill to "fix" him. He needs someone to share his concerns with.

Groceries got delivered this morning. Also, maintenance was here "to do something about your ceiling tiles" (his words... problem began last week, where neighbor's floor collapsed (and the ceiling of the apartment below her, since her floor would have been the ceiling of that apartment) after she cracked her toilet. This then saturated some of our ceiling tiles... so they put a work order in, since they would have collapsed if they worked on them wet).

what does it mean to be safe?
we hear people talk of safety... and get confused.
"Safe"?
how do you know you are safe?
how can you be safe if you do not feel safe?
if someone tells you "you're safe," that does not make it so if you do not feel safe.
do we make sense at all??

when lash out do we see you? no. even if we say we do. we see our pain coilin around us. it does not let go. we get frustrated, angry, sad. we just want pain to go away. we not want be like this. telling us let go and move on not helpful because been trying do that for years. then suddenly we uprooted, come here to this head, to this place. how would you cope if all you knew changed seemingly overnight?
