On what date do New Zealanders celebrate their new public holiday known as "Matariki"?

Matariki is the same constellation the Greeks called the Pleiades. It becomes visible in New Zealand in Winter and the Maori base their New Year on the constellation's appearance. The NZ government decided to make the celebration date of the holiday the first New Moon after the rising of the Matariki constellation.
