The color octarine (a type of greenish-yellow-purple) is only seen by wizards.

The colour (or color if you prefer) is called octarine. In the Disc World spectrum, it's the eighth colour.

It was visible only to wizards and cats. It is described in "The Colour of Magic" as the colour of imagination and is a fluorescent greenish yellow-purple (using all the primary colours). The only time non-wizards can see it is when they close their eyes; the bursts of color are octarine.
