Arancini are rice balls, breaded and deep fried. Pre-cooked rice is formed into a ball around a square of cheese, dipped into beaten egg, then breadcrumbs and fried until golden.

Arancini are an appetizer made from leftover risotto that are then breaded and fried. They may be stuffed with things such as cheese, sausage or vegetables. They are usually accompanied by marinara sauce for dipping.
