Botts' dots are "raised pavement markers." These small bumps are found on roadways, marking lanes, particularly in places where vehicles risk collision by drifting.

Analogous to rumble strips, Bott' dots provide feedback to drivers.

Creator of Botts' dots was Elbert Dysart Botts, a Californian traffic engineer.
