In the US in the 1980s, what was a "Flowbee"?

The Flowbee was an attachment for the vacuum cleaner to cut hair. The vacuum would pull the hair and the blades would cut it and much to Mom's delight the hair clippings would be sucked up. Win-win, right? Except the cut looked like it was cut with a Flowbee... Thankfully, I had my own money by then so I never had to endure one. My brother was not so lucky!
