Which ethnic group has proportionately won the most Nobel prizes?

The correct answer to my question is Jews. Almost 1/5 of all Nobel laureates are Jewish. It is remarkable for Jews only constitute about 1% of the worlds population.

A quick look through the winners shows hardly any Asians, Africans or Polynesians have won. So that leaves Europeans or white-skinned people as the majority.

We make up a smaller precentage than that. But we have much pride to take in Agnon (who won for literature), Einstein (physics) and Rabin (peace). Of course, Judaism is a religion rather than an ethnic group, so I'd still go with Europeans.
