Perhaps Sir Charles Chaplin

Commemorated with a UK postage stamp in 1985 (8 years before Princess Grace) and with a US stamp in 1994 (one year after Princess Grace)

(Princess) Grace (Kelly) appeared on stamps of Monaco at the time of her wedding in 1956 - well before either issue above.
