I could not find an 'official' description by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the artists, but a coment was made on SongMeaings.net that could be close. It states the song is about Las Vegas. The lions refer more specifically the MGM Grand which is next to the Luxor cassino which has a big light at the top. Much of the rest of the song relates to ambiguous references to 'activities' one may partake in while in Vegas.
