Is there Gulliver's Travel by Jonathan Swift on the list? If it would be then I would do it because our this years course novel book was Gulliver's Travel. Reply #141. Feb 23 15, 11:14 AM |

Elai, the list of available books is in the top post. Every available title has a little blurb/review written by the person who recommended it. Reply #142. Feb 23 15, 1:14 PM |

I mean to ask, can new books be added to the list of Fun Trivia Book Club? Reply #143. Feb 26 15, 10:11 AM |

If you write a quiz on a book that is already listed, then you can add a new book to the list. Reply #144. Feb 26 15, 12:14 PM |

Buddy's got it right; we want to encourage people to read our favourites. If you end up reading someone's recommendation, you get to pass the torch on and recommend your own. Shadowmyst-- I'm reading 'Stranger in a Strange Land' right now too, but in a twist of fate I lost the notes I had for it. I'm very eager to play your submission when it shows up. I'm enjoying the book! :) Reply #145. Feb 26 15, 12:53 PM |

I kept mine completely spoiler free, more on the history of the book Kyle. It's been a couple of years since I last read it, so I didn't feel comfortable doing a detailed quiz about topics in the book. Hopefully you'll like it still, lol. It's been waiting in the que for a day or so now, hopefully you'll get a chance to play it soon. Reply #146. Feb 26 15, 11:01 PM |

Thanks for info kyle and buddy. I think then it would take about 10-15 years for me to write quiz on the books listed because first I've to focus on my life's goal. I've decided to write a novel, "The Turning Points". Till now I've written just three poems, "Life is Everything", "Inspirations" and "God, I need you". From 18 march to 4th april I've decided to write about 10 stories. I want to take permission that can I post them on General board? Please This would improve my English. I've thought about one that is, "The Abdominal Spirit". Reply #149. Feb 27 15, 1:52 AM |

I only moderate this board, so I don't know how they would feel about the posting; it seems like the type of thing better suited to a personal blog though. Reply #150. Feb 27 15, 3:52 AM |

Thanks for editing Agony. Hope people aren't too bothered that I went in a different direction than focusing on the plot. I just noticed there were a couple of other quizzes on the book already and wanted to be a bit different. Reply #151. Feb 27 15, 8:15 AM |

Thanks kyle, then I think I should have to take a poll on "general boards" that should I post my stories there or not. It would be better way. Reply #152. Feb 27 15, 9:15 AM |

I've been meaning to read Perks of Being a Wallflower for a while, nice of this thread to remind me of that. I noticed lonely-lady may be doing a quiz on it already but I might read it also and if I happen to write a quiz on it too well that would be a bonus. Reply #154. Apr 26 15, 8:55 AM |

I have read the book, but need to do so again if I am to write a quiz. My quiz mojo needs a reboot, so I may be a very long time so do not let me stop you! Reply #155. Apr 26 15, 3:03 PM |

"To Serve Them All My Days" by R. F. Delderfield is our recommendation from Laura. :) Reply #156. Apr 29 15, 6:05 PM |

BTW, making a template for a quiz on Perks now. Haven't quite finished it yet but thoroughly enjoying the book- a bit like "Catcher in the Rye" but with a protagonist who is actually likeable and not completely repulsive (sorry Holden fans, I just didn't like him much...).
