I stopped dead on this question tonight and STILL cannot make out what it might be:

In the list 'A,B,C,D,E,J,K', which one doesn't belong? (Clue - think personal health)

d

j

Does anyone know this one?

J is the only one that's not a vitamin.

Perfect example of why an explanation of the answer in the 'Interesting Info' section can be helpful :-D

I am an eighth grader. Before looking at the answers below, the letter J struck my brain. I am just learning about vitamins in my science class. Perfect timing to come across this question.

Which just goes to show that FT is not only fun but very informative and I have learnt lots of things I did not know previous to joining. Proves you are never too old to learn.

I had that question and I picked J because it was the only one not in alphabetical order.

Does anyone know why there is no Vitamin J? Or F, G, H, or I? There is a Vitamin K!

I had "The Absolutely Funniest" Interesting Information in a quiz I took earlier last night, and yes, that info can make or break a question.

The Interesting Information that made me laugh right out loud was:

"He's dead."

Apparently there used to be according to Steven Fowkes, an organic chemist:

"We do not use the abandoned letters anymore. For example, vitamin J is/was reclassified as B2. Vitamin F is currently called EFA (essential fatty acid), or linoleic acid (and linolenic, etc.). Biotin is vitamin H"
