Mine are both horror films -

Sharknado II is being repeated. I missed it the other night. I also missed the first 45 minute tonight but I can still follow the plot, such as it is.

This movie is funnier than I think they meant it to be. My favorite scene so far is the shark getting alligator in the subway.

Exorcist II is right down there for the worst of all time.

The Creeping Terror is about a killer carpet from outer space. The Monster was made so cumbersome that people had to fall down and roll into its mouth.

Meatballs 3, Patrick Dempsey stars as a older Rudy (Chris Makepeace in the original) who is having difficulty getting a girlfriend. He is a long way from McDreamy in this one.

So many more bad movies can be found in The Golden Turkey Award books by the Medved Brothers.

While not the worst movies - it does irritate me when in some of these old 40's/50's films - you have a setting of pre Norman England and they have knight's in 13th/14 century armour - well before it was known in western Europe .
As for worst movies- any musical or anything with Jim Carrey - the one trick pull a silly face pony.

When I was 17 in school a teacher put Transformers on in our last lesson of the year. It was one of the cheesiest things I've ever had to watch. I hate cheesy dialogue. Kid's action films are the worst for lines like 'Let's do this'.

The original "Starship Troopers" is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The first sequel, "Starship Troopers: Hero of the Federation," is one of the worst!

Well, as old as I am, I've seen many stinkers but thankfully early Alzheimer's means I've forgotten most of them.

Recently, my daughter and son-in-law subjected me to "Fight Club". Words fail me to describe what a monumental waste of time that movie is.

The other one that comes to mind is "Something about Mary". When this movie first came out, several of my friends raved about how hilarious it was. So I went to the cinema to see it and waited for it to be funny, but it never happened. The only humour in this movie was puerile adolescent humour. If left the cinema with serious doubts as to the intelligence of my friends.

I felt the same way about Caddyshack and Caddyshack 2

Firefox (surprisingly with clint eastwood) and Hercules in new York (not surprisingly with Arnold muscles)

I have heard that "The Room" is the best worst movie ever made. I never got a chance to watch it, but now I am curious about it. :)

Skyflyerjen. Sounds like you were in the disappointments room. At least they were honest with the title.

Not the worst I've seen but the most recent truly dreadful waste of almost 2 hours - 'Martha Marcy May Marlene'. Really surprised by the high IMDB rating, different strokes for different folks.

It's a shame, really - decent premise, decent acting - but it went absolutely nowhere. No character development, no plot development, and to top it off, no ending.

I didn't look through the entire thread but, "Howard the Duck" has to be on this list.

I saw the absolute worst, cringeworthy thing ever made, on TV. It was so bad, I kept watching it, not knowing it would only get worse. It was called something like Black Superman.
Cheap, cheap, cheap, bad actors, sets, so-called dialogue, everything. Just hope it never comes your way, if it ever does, RUN, RUN FOR YOUR SANITY!!!

Lost in Translation - One of the most over rated movies ever IMO.
I watched it and thought 'what the heck was that about?'
