I remember the television ad campaign for Bonanza, long before it arrived on our screens. Tum-tiddle-um tiddle tum-tiddle-um BONANZA! It worked, too - half the population were scratching their heads and waiting to find out what it meant. I just switched off when the ad came on, and told nobody in particular to get on with it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjdRgBAY278 Reply #21. Oct 28 11, 9:03 AM |

Huckleberry Hound. I used to have Huckleberry Hound wall paper in my bedroom, very embarrassing when I reached the age of 10! Reply #22. Oct 28 11, 10:54 AM |

I still like the cartoons of yesteryear, and I am over 30. Most of the newer ones aren't worth watching. Live action: I can't pinpoint it down to one series. Reply #23. Oct 28 11, 10:14 PM |

re: reply #8 Paulmallon, It dawned on me that you asked whether I preferred Ginger or Mary Ann was because you thought I was a guy. No harm, no foul! Reply #24. Oct 29 11, 2:25 PM |

turbotude-you're right I guess I did, but somewhere within the Fun Trivia universe there are probably a couple of gals thinking that one over and that's cool.too Reply #28. Oct 30 11, 6:58 PM |

Well, Paul, I'm sure there ARE a few gals out there in the FT universe, weighing that question....for many different reasons. Maybe some of them are trying to decide which character they would most like to emulate. In my case, I would have combined the best qualities of each lady.....and what a BOMB I would've been! Ha cha cha! Reply #29. Nov 08 11, 1:54 PM |

I go through phases of favorite things, always have. Some of my favorite shows as a kid were: Dragnet, MASH, all of the TGIF shows, almost any Hanna-Barbera cartoon, almost any Disney cartoon and most shows, and the Monkees. That's all off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more but I can't remember them. Reply #30. Nov 08 11, 2:06 PM |
