Parker Lee Child Michael Connelly Daniel Silva Ed McBain/Evan Hunter Not to insult anyone's opinion, (because opinions are just that) the most over-rated author of our time is James (a book a month) Patterson. I liked his earlier stuff (10 years ago)but he's clearly writing to fulfill contracts now, not because he has a good plot in mind. Again my opinion.
