Well, mine's a little tough. I like cats, so mine might be a cat. Turtle. Is it even possible to have a turtle patronus? Reply #4. Jun 25 08, 12:45 PM |

No, I am not goth, but that is a lovely image. A black widow is quiet, stealthy, prefers dark places and is ruthlessly efficient. It would be a cool patronus, wouldn't it? Reply #9. Jun 29 08, 3:00 PM |

Ever notice that when this question is asked *no one* ever says their Patronus would be something like a vole, an earthworm or even a ring-necked pheasant? Why is that? Reply #15. Aug 22 08, 9:58 PM |

Of course, having something like an amoeba as a patronus would be interesting. Too small to be seen, therefore unlikely to ever be intercepted by anyone. Reply #18. Aug 27 08, 10:15 PM |

Well, I suppose it doesn't matter what form the patronus takes, as long as it IS a patronus. An amoeba or earthworm properly invoked should have the desired effect on dementors and whatever. But while it seems that one can change one's patronus, it's not clear that its initial form is decided by the user. If one can choose that form, how many people are going to go for, say, a mosquito? And if people can't choose, then I can't help wondering what sort of person would end up with an amoeba. If I COULD choose, my patronus would be a leopard. When I was little, I didn't have a teddy bear, I had a stuffed leopard called "Oliver." I've always been fond of those cats. Reply #19. Aug 28 08, 9:34 AM |
