It can be from either the movie or the book.
I like in book 1 when Draco is being pulled away by McGonagall who doesn't believe him about the dragon.

For some reason I always laugh when Harry says to Malfoy, "Pity you can't attach an extra arm to your broomstick, then it could catch the snitch for you!". It don't know why, it's not really very funny. :P

Book: Has to be Lockhart saying to Harry "Now you mustn't expect a treat like this every time you get detention, Harry" or something like that :D

Movies: In HBP when Harry takes Felix Felicis. I laughed so hard!
And when Ron takes the Love Potion. LOL!

I forget which book it is, but it has to be when Draco is turned into a ferret.

I forgot to add any scene where Ron, Harry, or Hermione make fun of Prof. Trelawny.

Book: Anything with Peeves, or Weasley Twins
Movies: When Myrtle sees Harry naked in the fourth one
Game: Half-Blood Prince, when he takes Felix-Felices (or whatever), then he is just running around at random

Do you find this funny, wdstk? I usually close my eyes and keep them closed until it is over, because slimy legless creatures are not my favourite animals:)

The look on his face as they come out cracks me up. The slugs themselves look like black licorice, which I hate.

Well, in the seventh movie part 1,(not sure about the book, can't remember) Harry and Ginny are kissing, when one of the twins walks in and sees them. They break apart, Ginny walks out of the room, and the twin gives Harry amusing looks.
Adam47, that was funny.

I love the part in the first movie when they are learning how to fly and Malfoy steals Neville's rememberall (IDK if I spelled that right,) and Harry said "Give it here Malfoy". It's not exactly that funny, but me and my sister always mimic it and it's just really funny to me!!!!!

Funniest Movie Moment
The "babbling bumbling band of baboons" joke by the Weasley's in the fourth movie.

Funniest Book Moment
In the Battle of the Seven Potters, when Hagrid falls off the motorcycle or something of the sort, Harry shouts: "Hagrid! Accio Hagrid!" I don't know why but it's the funniest moment!

The scene in 'The Goblet of Fire' where Snape shoves Ron's & Harry's heads down over their books because they're talking in class.

When McGonagall gives Neville and Seamus permission to blow up the bridge, "Boom!"

...or Ron in the "Chamber of Secrets" when he and Harry are following the spiders into the forest: "Why couldn't it be follow the butterflies!?"

In OotP, when Fudge commands an Auror to arrest Dumbledore, and Dumbledore refuses to co-operate.

"Well - it's just that you seem to be labouring under the delusion that I am going to - what is the phrase? - come quietly. I am afraid I am not going to come quietly at all, Cornelius. I have absolutely no intention of being sent to Azkaban. I could break out, of course - but what a waste of time, and frankly, I can think of a whole host of things I would rather be doing."

"'Don't be silly, Dawlish,' said Dumbledore kindly. 'I'm sure you are an excellent Auror - I seem to remember that you achieved "Outstanding" in all your NEWTs - but if you attempt to - er - bring me in by force, I will have to hurt you.'"

In movie 3 when Hermione punched Draco, it was unexpected from her and she liked it.
In Deathly GHallows part 2 when McGonagall told Neville and Seamis they can "boom" it. I burst out laughing
