Fried rice with pineapple is definitely a winner for me :) Although I would never say no to some dumplings and some juicy egg rolls :) Reply #61. Mar 19 12, 12:49 AM |

Of what is available here my favourite is Sizzling Garlic Prawns, however (and I may not be spelling this correctly) when I was in California a few years ago I had a dish called Mu Shu Pork. I would kill for a taste of it again :) Reply #62. Mar 19 12, 1:59 AM |

There's a Chinese restaurant just down the street from my place and they make a Chicken King Pao that is out of this world - very Szechuan spicy, with peanuts. Yum. Reply #70. Mar 29 19, 4:49 PM |

Sweet and sour pork balls. I'm not sure whether it's an authentic Chinese dish. I suspect it's a westernised version of Chineses food but it's my favourite. It's getting harder to find now, though sweet and sour chicken is nearly always to be found. Chinese take away food seems to have gone downhill in recent times. The chicken they use is often highly 'processed' and tastes like it - very rubbery and there's too much salt, fat and sugar in the food, especially fat. Reply #72. Apr 09 19, 3:15 AM |

That's so hard. How can anyone pick one favorite Chinese food!!!!!???? Alk Chinese food is marvelous. However, if I had to pick one, it would be noodle and miso paste soup. Reply #79. Jan 02 23, 8:33 PM |
