I love reading just like anyone else.
Who here owns a Kindle reading device. Or any other eReader?

Although I love books and have bookcases full of them, now that my arthritis is getting worse I find a kindle much easier to hold. I do agree however that it is so much easier to flick back a few pages in a book than trying to find something you read earlier on the kindle,

I own a Kindle, it's great for waiting in lines and on the subway. However, I do love my paper books and still read them a lot, I recently started borrowing and exchanging instead of buying, saves me a lot of money.

Love my Kindle. As has been said, it's great for travel, waiting in dr.'s offices, etc. I also like real books too. But the Kindle is really convenient.

My husband and I both have a Kindle Fire HD, love it, but still buy books for the thrill of turning the page, and of course the smell.

I'm a big Kindle fan - it's amazing how many books you can carry around on that little thing :o)

Owning a Kindle has significantly changed my life for the better. As I often move form place to place I didn't use to be able to have a lot of books at my disposal, which was very frustrating as I'm a bookworm. However, now I can carry around a whole library without any extra weight. My grandparents love their Kindles as well because they can adjust the font size so as not to strain their eyes.

Love Kindles for holiday reads as you can take several books without using valuable luggage space and weight. However you can't beat the feel of holding a real book.

I was just reading on the news or in a magazine (I forget which) that an e-book seller went into administration and the e-books it sold all disappeared from their customers e-readers. It seems when you buy an e-book you don't own it outright. Also you can't transfer or 'lend' it to someone else as you can with a real book.

Just to add, 'Kindle Fire' not good to read if the Sun is out. 'Kindle white' is better for reading.

I have also added the Kindle app to my iphone, which is really convenient when waiting for doctors, etc. since I usually have my phone with me anyway.
