Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker books, especially the first two, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" are unsurpassed IMO. I have read other funny books though. One that comes to mind is "Asimov Laughs Again," which is a compendium of limericks, anecdotes, jokes and the like. Guaranteed to give you a smile. Reply #66.
