Powells: The last great independent book store in the USA. (they were a customer of mine when I was in the publishing biz). I hope they are doing well...such a professionally run, hometown feel, bookstore. Reply #41. Sep 06 20, 3:57 PM |

I take a couple of newsletters from Powells. Have never been up that way to visit a store, but have been ordering from them since the 1990s or so. When all this Corona Virus stuff hit, their sales by mail were booming, but I think they had to close their stores and only recently opening them on a limited basis. Reply #42. Sep 06 20, 5:19 PM |

I've read the prior posts. I'm interested in looking up some authors I don't know. Thanks for sharing! Reply #44. Sep 14 20, 9:34 AM |

Steven Havill -- his Posada County and Sheriff Bill Gastner stories are addictive. King of like Craig Johnson, but lighter. Reply #45. Oct 29 20, 6:12 PM |
