"Play it, Sam." Play what? The quiz, of course. Since the next stop on this Globetrot Trivia tour is the city of Casablanca, Morocco, it makes sense to pull out a reference to the classic 1942 film of the same name. That could be your inspiration for a quiz on this Atlantic port city, one of the largest in Africa and the largest, by population, in the nation. The movie is one quiz possibility, but there's so much on and under the surface of this location that you could talk about its sites, its French history, its place in Morocco, or even its name (Casa Blanca? 'White House'?!). Or you could go far out of the box and write a quiz about the music of The Strokes (lead singer, Julian Casablancas). "Here's lookin' at you, quiz." Reply #41. Jul 15 18, 10:54 PM |

I just located one of my favorite Marx Brothers movies on YouTube - now to find the time to watch it and try to frame a quiz around the laughter. Reply #42. Jul 16 18, 1:22 AM |

The Alps! What can you say, really? Well, it's up to you to figure that out, because your quiz for this sixth stop on the Globetrot Trivia 3 tour is this expansive mountain range that cuts through France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Slovenia, making one of Europe's most picturesque and sublime regions. Great works of literature have been written about them; nations build their cities within them; mountaineers conquer them; some people cross them on elephants! Maybe you're a fan of Saint Bernards or cheese fondue or castles or Winter Olympics! No matter what your inspiration, this stop is yours to make into a quiz. Climb the tallest peak! (It's Mont Blanc, by the way.) Reply #49. Jul 24 18, 6:34 AM |

The symbol of Romantic Bavaria, Neuschwanstein Castle, on the German border with Switzerland in the small village of Hohenschwangau rises from the Alps and acts as our seventh stop on the tour. The palace exudes fairy tale opulence, and it's no surprise that it was the basis for the appearance of Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle. Take your inspiration from this idyllic, regal home as you consider your quiz for this destination. Reply #56. Jul 26 18, 3:32 PM |
